1. NC is nearly certain Obama. Franken has a headwind.
Missouri is very close but looks to be going red (slightly pink?). Need to check on Stevens and Oregon's race.

2. Missouri and Franken are like Tweety binging on a Repub guest...ie they give me the runs.
Edited on Wed Nov-05-08 03:25 AM by vaberella
I can't get a handle on where it's going. As for NC, it's Obama's leading by 11,160. Not much more to do there.

22. They BETTER FUCKING COUNT THEM
I'm sorry........we are the UNITED States of America but I am tired of Sherriff Bubba Johnston types down in Georgia and elswhere in the south. Glad to see their brand of thought is being marginalized and GOP is increasingly becoming the party of the deep south and Mormon states.

7. Merkley looks good in Oregon - lots of blue to count. Stevens for
some reason is leading his race - 73% counted, 4 point lead. There is only one precinct - all of Alaska!

13. Don't wory about Stevens, even if he runs he's going to have to step down.
There is no way they'll let him keep his seat after being convicted 7 times.

18. But would you admit to voting for a felon?
Or would you say you didnt, but in the privacy of the voting booth vote for him because he gets you all kinds of pork?

Thats the problem, I think.

11. Believe it or not...
With 94% in Franken is ahead by just over 1,000 votes out of 2.2 million cast.
We won't know for a while, as there will be recounts etc.

Here's the MSNBC interactive:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032553/

Click on MN, then on the right, click on "senate".
Updated every ten minutes.

20. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Clean slate!!
Sure, we have Greg Walden, but one Republican blemish isn't bad if we delivered electoral votes to Obama and got another Dem Senator.

I was a little surprised BOTH minimum sentences crime bills passed. WHATEVER.
