It seems to me that neither Bush nor Chaney ever heard of this old saying.
First they bring up Kerry's Vietnam war record, when neither of them even went to Vietnam. Then they ridicule his 3 purple hearts while trying to pretend that they want us to honor the troops who are dying in a the wrong headed Iraqi war that they started. All the while while preaching patriotism, how stupid can you get?
Sure they were between a rock and a hard place on being unwilling to put their own lives on the line during the Vietnam War and wanted to confuse the issue, but they just made it worse for themselves. They have displayed extremely bad judgment in my opinion. Another old saw "you can't buy good judgment down at the corner drug store."
Please restore reasonable thought process to the Federal Government by electing John Kerry and John Edwards.

don't hear this phrase more often when hearing talk about the Bush regime. Oh wait, no I'm not, the right-wing corporate-owned media whores would never say something like that. The 'liberal' media might, now, I grant you...but there isn't any!! (Except what some fortunate few can see: FSTV, Link, BBCAmerica, etc.)

3. But staggering shameless hypocrisy is the HALLMARK of Totalitarianism |
|
Why should the Busheviks be any different than the Nazis, the Soviets, or Ferdinand Marcos.
Why should they be different than ANY of those who have come before them pioneering Totalitarian Pravda?
Totalitarianism of all stripes, including Bushevikism, relies on a programmed set of followers inacapble of absrobing any information that isn't Party-Approved
The Busheviks as all the rest of the Totalitarians.

You'll notice they used surrogates to do this, because they had to. It was absolutely necessary to call Sen. Kerry's heroism into question, because of their own crappy military records.

6. They Accuse Others of what they are Guilty Of |
|
Cheney says Kerry has no deep sense of right or wrong - as Cheney takes cash from Halliburton
Bush says Kerry is a flip-flopper, as Bush changes his mind daily about the new head of intelligence
Bush says "Results Matter" about Kerry's Senate Career, when Bush has done nothing or had horrible results.
Bush says Kerry voted against Body Armor for the troops, when it was Bush who sent the troops to battle without Body Armor.
It goes on and on and on. . .anything they accuse Kerry/Edwards of they are very guilty of.
Welcome to DU :hi:
