1. I'm sick over it, but since Bill Luther left the 6th district, they gerrymandered it into a realy |

... messed it up. I don't want to play the third-party card, but really, the guy didn't even have the nomination from his party, the Independence party endorsed Tinklenberg. Andersen was somehow able to run on the Independence ticket, and as my friend said, was rather "opportunistic" about it.

3. It's the Anderson Effect |
|
This has happened in Minnesota before. A seriously mentally challenged woman named Sharon Anderson won the Republican primary for attorney general simply because her name was Anderson: http://ftp.hometown.aol.com/__121b_gbpHMzt7mz4TL4sUmrwoYCQZ2dD9X635j0SX+0FQV5qOSSMYanoO5A==http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharon_AndersonSome people are so dumb here (or inbred) they will vote for someone simply because their name is Anderson. A sad but true fact here in once-progressive Minnesota. Bob Anderson's 10 percent is proof that's still true in the 6th District.
