Look at who gave a victory speech in Illinois tonight.

Now try to guess how much longer the culture of hatred will last.

We'll see you in two years.

1. It can last a lot longer, if our leaders don't speak out clearly against it.

And it can seem cynical. It IS cynical. But sometimes you have to take it one step at a time. If speaking out clearly against it robs you of the power to do something about it you are forced to choose between the lesser evils. Or it can at least seem that way to some politicians, whose heart is in the right place.

The civil rights movement did not start with MLK giving speeches.

Should society be more enlightened? Yes. Should this not be a question at all? Of course not.

You are facing a reality thats different and an electorate that, apparently, is not prepared for that change.

At least now there is a hope that you have a leader that will make that change for them.

2. A lot/ Do not think today is the end of bigotry. If it was, Obama would be up by more than 10 points

3. Good point
The long march of history is on the side of liberalism. This kind of bigotry gets less and less support every year.
