I'd like to thank George W Bush...
...without whose tireless work to destroy the GOP and any hope of a "Permanent Republican Majority" that they dreamed of just four short years ago, none of this would of been possible.

Just think about what an ASTOUNDING F-up George had to be for Americans to have come so far so quickly?

When Bush stole re-election in 2004 (side-note: last night was the FIRST legitimately decided Presidential Election of the 21st Century), there was talk of a "Permanent Republican Majority", how this was a "Conservative" or "Center-Right" Nation where more people identified themselves as "Republican" or "Conservative" than "Democrat" or "Liberal".

Bill Maher put it best last week when he said, "After eight years of George Bush and just seven years after 9/11, Americans looked attheir choices and decided: I'll take the black guy with the Arab-sounding name that is accused of paling around with terrorists" over the Republican.

The historic significance of what we saw last night can't be understated. It was on par with seeing Man walk on the Moon or the Berlin Wall coming down. It will be repeated in the same breath as "Lincoln and MLK" for hundreds of years.

And none of it would of been possible without the tireless hard work and dedication of George W. Bush to be a complete and total F-up. I tip my hat to you, Sir!

1. I said the same thing to my mother-in-law this morning
I do have a small amount of gratitude for the Shrub for being such a disaster.

2. I mean, REALLY.
Obama's campaign, launched on his "opposition" to the Iraq War, had George of been even HALF as competent as his father... who also left the country in a recession, but knew enough not to go into Baghdad... I don't see Obama even getting the nomination, let alone winning.

Big thanks, George!

3. No Matter How Bad McCain/Palin Were As Candidates For This Election.......
the overwhelming response by the electorate of this country was not because of McCain/Palin - make no mistake about this - the reason that the electorate was so fired up and came out in record numbers - was because of G.W.Bush.

This was a major smackdown of Bush/Cheney and BushCo and what they foisted on this country in the last 8 years.

The economy didn't sink McCain. Palin didn't sink McCain. McCain didn't sink McCain.

After the last 8 years of war, lies, arrogance, spying, corporate favoritism, rising energy prices, looting of our national treasury ..... the economy turndown was just the last straw.

G.W.Bush sank McCain.
