Great to live in New England...we've finally banished ALL the Republicans from the House!
Himes beat Shays (I worked on Himes' campaign material!), and now we are 100% GOP-free!

:woohoo:

7. I worked on Shaheen's campaign material, too!
We took a couple of hits yesterday, but most of our clients were successful. I also worked on Kay Hagan's campaign! This has been the coolest election ever. It's so awesome to have actually been directly involved. And to think that people have told me all those years spent going after BushCo wouldn't pay off!

4. Indeed, you have reached the summit!
I'm from the Keystone State, but make my living driving the highways and byways of the true blue northeast, especially New England! I was watching closely to see if Shays survived. Not!

5. Yes, I saw the local CT news today and we also reelected Courtney and Murphy bigtime
Joe Courteny's race two years ago was the closest in the country, now he won by over 60%! I voted for my great congressman Chris Murphy. Now we are sending Himes in too.

10. Joe Courtney is a great guy. Awesome that he won such a resounding victory.
He really is about as genuine a guy as I've ever met. He deserves this big win. Connecticut has a pretty damned good slate of Congressmen right now! Congrats on the Murphy win!

9. What's the bluest of the blue in New England?
We are in western NC, completely surrounded by Red, though our county was relatively close.

One DUer posted last night -

"I just watched Obama declared president and MA decriminalize marijuana all in the span of 10 seconds! Is this a great country or what!!!!"

15. Come check out New Haven!
Lots of cultural wealth here w/o our being too big. A "just right" city if you ask me (or even if you don't!). I moved here from D.C. in 1985 and have loved living here...
