1. What would we say if we could?
I did some GOTV yesterday and was unable to persuade two people to even vote. Not that it would have mattered. My Congressional candidate lost by 14,534 votes. Apparently there are 152,432 people in my district who approve of the Bush administration. :banghead:

2. It is time to re-educate
Perhaps those seeking any form of government service (including hunting licenses and drivers licenses) must take a remedial civics course.

3. Yes, we do.
In an earlier thread, I asked how we could fight against those Right Wing Wackos because people like Bachmann do no deserve to be in office. When they are, they bring the rest of us down with their lack of leadership skills and petty demogaguery.

The main question of the hour is how do we work to stop the GOP/Christian Right ground game from the very beginning so we can elect good leadership instead of the people who don't have the interests of all Americans at heart.

The second thing is that yes, we still have a lot to do regarding racism and race-relations hin this country. Racism did not stop because Mr. Obama was elected. We also have to work on the behalf of the GLBT community. The passage of those bills were a travesty.

And yes, I heard the calls on C-SPAN. The "housewife" call (a few minutes ago) made my blood boil. Some people are unrepentant to the end. I wonder if she came from the "Red" South. :( :grr:
