FUX News is hysterical. They are barely covering Obama.
You'd think McCain had been elected based on the amount of time they spend discussing McCain, what he is doing today, his plans, and video of him.

The pundits were making fun of the people celebrating outside the WH last night. The tone of their voices was belittling. Mentioned the "possibility of people over-drinking."

They are also making excuses for their losses, saying Obama moved far to the center and claimed their issues. Then Rove and Megan and Bill had a lovefest together.

Now Bill is claiming that the Dow opening down this morning is due to rumors yesterday driving the Dow up, and reacting on the facts today. They already have started slamming. They are perpetuating the rumor that the Clinton people trashed the WH.

6. The only mention of her was that the senior campaign analyst for McDone
wouldn't yet go on record as stating she hurt the ticket. Megan freaked out at the suggestion that she wasn't right for the ticket. Seriously, an "omigod!" type of reaction to the idea. Clearly, they worship her like a diety.

2. What I find interesting is that they are signaling their loyalties lie with Sarah Palin, not McCain.
They are going to protect her, even from McCain advisors speaking on background badly about her. I guess they see her as their savior in 2012.

3. The "Clintonistas" may be trashed the white house, I don't care but
I do know that the country and the military and the economy were trashed BY THOSE WITH CONSERVATIVE VALUES. Its a big picture think requiring intellectual curiousity which you won't find on fake news.

8. That smear against the Democrats is as old as the hills
The GOP meme of the 1884 election was that the Democrats were the party of "Rum, Romanism, and Rebellion." :eyes:

The full quote:

http://www.ralphmag.org/BH/rum-romanism.html

Dr. Samuel D. Burchard, addressing a gathering of the Religious Bureau of the Republican National Committee, a week before the general election, stated,

We are Republicans, and don't propose to leave our party and identify ourselves with the party whose antecedents have been rum, Romanism, and rebellion. We are loyal to our flag.

Some things never change, do they?

5. Fuck that center shit.
The Republican consultants on CNN last night talked as if Obama has no choice but work with the right.

Fuck that! If anything, last night proved that America is sick of the right. They are so delusional, they still think they're calling the shots.

7. ITA. The US needs to move more socialistic in taking care of
the poor and disabled and elderly, veterans, and making sure workers' rights are protected. The failure of those radical anti-abortion measures indicates how the US feels about the religious right's so-called moral issues.

There is virtually no reason to work with the wingnuts in the minority, except to patronize them into thinking they aren't being left out. Be kind to them, listen, incorporate any ideas they have that might work, screw their ideals, and do what we know is right. Yes, they are delusional.
