Where did the Wetzelbill/Kurovski campaign go wrong?
I think it could have been the "inevitability" strategy, we were arrogant. I so thought we had this thing in the bag that I never bothered to campaign at all. That was probably a mistake.

But mainly, I think it was my middle name that sunk me. People in this country may be great enough to elect Barack Hussein Obama to the presidency, they may be great enough to judge him on merit and not skin color or his middle name. That's fine and I appreciate it.

But they did not do the same thing with me. And that is a tragedy. It just goes to show you that this country isn't ready to move on and elect a president and a vice president with exotic names that can be associated with evil people.

With that, I still refuse to concede. - Bill George-Bush Wetzel.

And neither does my running mate Kurovski, whose middle name happens to be Dickcheney.

1. The "one blog strategy" might have been slightly ahead of it's time.
:hi:

6. I think so
Also, in his initial support, I think JeffR inflated the numbers. I thought I had at least one supporter, but it turns out that was within the margin of error for no supporters at all.

5. It turns out that you can't get by on name recognition alone
when nobody knows who you are.

3. You guys are just looking for excuses. Don't concede. Demand a recount.
Oh, BTW, you didn't get that animal control officer job I wrote you in for either.

8. I just didn't know what kind to go with
I was erratic. While Obama was consistent on his messages with Sweet Potato and Coconut Cream pie, I lurched from delicious dessert to delicious dessert like an undisciplined fool. In retrospect, it probably was another mistake to suspend my campaign and threaten to pull out of the debate until I solved the pie eating crisis.
