How the hell is Stevens leading in the AK Senate race?...
There are that many Alaskans who think it's OK for a convicted felon to represent them?

Sid

2. Come on moose lovers, Ted is not even hot.
Look for Bush to hand out a pardon for Ted faster then he can put a for-sale sign on his fake ranch in Crawford.

4. Isn't that the same state that voted for Palin?
Makes sense when you think about that.

5. Perhaps they consider a vote for Stevens as a vote
for Palin. Or perhaps they are just incredibly idiotic.

8. My guess is the same reason people seem to always vote for
their OLD but long time Sen/Rep. Look at low long SC kept reelecting Strom Thrumond, even after it was obvious he was no longer coherent! When I lived in SC, I asked WHY people keep voting for him, and I was told "because of all the great things he did for our state in the past."

11. Because Stevens keeps the money flowing to Alaska
Biggest pork barrell spender in Congress perhaps. And oh because Stevens SAID he hasn't been convicted of anything! You know it was all a Democratic plot!

12. To keep that seat
If/when he goes to prison. Mooselini gets to handpick his replacement. Senator Todd Palin, perhaps? :puke:
