I mostly watched BBC America last night, and it was an absolute fucking riot. |
|
They had some of the weirdest people on- including the dreadful John Bolton who literally flipped out, demanding that Katty Kay be fired for her rudeness. And he was seated next to Simon Schwama who completely freaked him out. The coverage was much, much less polished than the usual suspects, but much much more entertaining. And much blunter. They also had on Karen Hughs, Chris Hitchins and many others. It was much more fun than any of the cable news networks or PBS or the major networks.

1. Prob. is I would have vomited every time they showed Hughes or Bolton. |

Watching PBS was better for me nutritionally and hygenically!

2. Comedy Central was pretty good |

Steve Forbes made an appearance and suggested that McCain take a long, relaxing vacation and read Forbes Magazine.

3. I couldn't watch too much as I was busy all night |
|
but after I caught just a few minutes of it, about half an hour into their coverage, I knew I had to record it to watch later.
One of the guys was talking about how it was the wrong time for the Republican party to start a rallying cry against Socialism, what with the fact that their party had just nationalized the top tier of our financial system.

Dimblebies have been reporting on election results for the BBC since about 1387 BC.
