We were spared God knows how many American soldier and Iraqi civilian casualties and God knows how many more unneccessary wars
We were spared having an even worse reputation as a country worldwide
We were spared yet another triumph of hate over hope, fascism over freedom, and bigotry over common sense and tolerance

But most of all...

We were spared the possibility of a woman becoming president who thinks dinosaurs and humans coexisted, who wants the Apocalypse to occur ASAP, who acted like she was running for Grand Wizard instead of Vice President, and who isn't fit to run a hot dog stand, let alone the entire nation
