NOV 4, 2008: Day of Deliverance - Democracy Re-established in America. the Long NIghtmare is over..

The dark Eight nightmare years of Republican Fascist Totalitarian governance is over. We've all been delivered from this long nightmare by an African-American candidate said "let there be Democracy - again in America" and Americans roared: "YES". A black man saves liberty for all in America. Behold The Cleansing Light of Democracy (this morning when I looked outside it seemed brighter and the air seemed fresher).

Let us cast out the thieves and zealots, the enemies of democracy. Lady Liberty is freed from her prison in the Cheney's giant safe. As the door opens the Cheney shuns the light (it only exposes his repugnant ugliness to freedoms fair face). The brilliant light of democracy shall sterilize the sad White HOuse. No more will it be forced to house those who made the Government the enemy of the people and a threat to freedom, justice and liberty. THe Cheney will slide unabtrusively (as always) back into the shadows. He'll continue with his malicious machinations, an evil presence, felt sometimes but rarely seen. But he no longer holds Democracy a prisoner in his giant safe. She's been freed. (Freed by a man whose people we're freed a century and half ago. NOw he's returned the favor - for all of us.)

Barack Obama has reasserted government of the people, by the people and FOR the PEOPLE. A Government which will put people before lobbyists money, corporate power and zealotry. No more fraudulent rationale for the wrong war which weakened us in every imaginable way, militarily, economically and as the recognized leader for Freedom and Justice in the world. No more fake newsmen asking fake questions of a fake president. No more Government propaganda made to look like legitimate news reports distributed freely to news bureaus across the nation. No more dis-information (at least promulgated by the Government - we still have Corporate Media - the handmaiden to Fascist Feudalism, corporations are the lords - the not-well-connected are the serfs). No more K-street Projects melding Corporate power with the Government functions of Policy making and Legislation - to leave the citizens as serfs with no say in their government and no status in their society.

Instead we'll see a government which is open to the people. A government that is for the people, by the people and OF THE PEOPLE. Let us say a final good-bye to this Republican dystopia we've suffered through. Let us begin with hopefulness a new democracy in America. America's Second Democracy starts now.
