One Unfortunate Thing
As much as I am happy with my country and its people that they did the right thing, one thing that bothers me is it really wasn't Iraq that did it. You can almost exclusively put this win on economic issues. Which is great, but unfortunately on the question of Iraq, many voters still favored McCain.

Its sad. Our country invaded another for the first time that did not attack us. On false pretenses no less. It was a radical change in everything America stood for, I thought. It has been a disaster in terms of our reputation, standing and what we mean to the world.

And yet many Americans let it become an afterthought. For many Americans, they did not have a problem with McCain's position on it.

One disappointment on a great day.
