Wonder if Joe Lieberman is somewhere secretly crying?
I want the DEMS to kick him to the curb. If he wants to act like a Republican then treat him like one. They should take away any leadership positions he has. He is despicable. He crossed the line when he stood behind McCain and nodded as he spewed that Socialism garbage.

1. They should take away his chairmanship and...
...not allow him at any legislative strategy meetings.

If he wants to leave the Democratic caucus as a result, then fine.

3. That goes without saying

Holy Joe is now rendered to the dustbin of the history of political fools. The only thing I regret about Joe is he has yet to challenge anyone to a duel yet.

Zel Miller was the greatest of the bat shit crazy...Joe is just a damn loser.

10. No other choice really
Joe had no choice but to endore McCain...

He had been on the outs with his party for so long -- and Obama stood opposed to so much that Liberman stood for that he could not endorse Obama with a straight face.

It is good that he did not stay on the sidelines.

Lieberman is the perfect illustration of why Sarah Palin will never be president.

Just like Edwards, Joe and Quayle did not win -- neither will Sarah...

4. Don't we still need him for a cloture vote? He is probably OK right now.

5. He's probably trying to mend some fences
He knows he's got to get himself back into the good graces of the Democrats if he wants to avoid becoming Senator Irrelevant for the next several years.

6. Bingo. I think we have a winner.
He will do exactly that. He really doesn't have a choice.

7. Maybe he's more valuable to us now
He knows his political career is on thin ice. He'll never get re elected as a Republican, and he doesn't want to be in the minority party. He's going to have to eat some major crow in order to keep any power. So, he might be a bonus to us now. He will have to demonstrate sufficient groveling and obedience. If he does, then we should keep him on for strategic reasons. Political outrage is cheap, but having an ironclad majority is priceless.

11. He'd better open up his checkbook wide then...
I hope they make him squirm bigtime, and then still kick him to the curb.

9. Can't voters in Connecticut start a recall vote?
I daresay most of them didn't get who they thought they were electing.
