If Bush :puke: could claim a mandate even though he lost the popular vote, then Obama can
most certainly claim a mandate seeing that he won the popular vote and received an outright
majority of the vote.

And check the turn out:

Obama 63 million + McCain 56 million = 119 million

Bush 62 million + Kerry 59 million = 121 million

Oops, corrected addition error. In the process I noticed, hey, wasn't this supposed to be a "record turn out" year?
