Palin says McCain's loss isn't her fault
Palin says McCain's loss isn't her fault

Of course she does. :eyes:

And she does it in her typical word-salad Palinese:
I don't think anybody should give Sarah Palin that much credit, that I would trump an economic, woeful time in this nation that occurred about 2 months ago, that my presence on the ticket would trump the economic crisis that America found itself in a couple of months ago and attribute John McCain's loss to me.

2. She may have hardened the fundie right but she brought meaningless numbers
of voters to the ticket. She was a total bust.

5. She brought a spectacle to the McCain campaign that wasn't there before..
which was misconstrued as support. Can you imagine the anemic crowds McCain would have drawn without her? It was all a mirage, those people would have ultimately gone for McCain anyway, but she succeeded in driving independents and moderate republicans away in droves. As you say, a total bust.

4. I'd say her non-stop "toss red meat to her base" speeches had a major effect

If she wants to believe her divisive us vs. them clap-trap didn't chase off moderates/independents then I welcome her to keep it up in 2012.

6. I've talked to many people who were on the fence...
until Mc* chose Palin. They they were for Obama. So yeah, Sarah, it IS your fault. More accurately, it was Mc*'s lack of judgement in choosing you that ultimately sank him.

20. McCain would have lost without her, but she got Obama a few more states
McCain's judgment was shattered when he picked Palin. McCain's pandering to get Hillary's vote backfired. It was an insult to women. The only people pleased with Palin were a bunch of far right nutjobs. McCain already had their vote.

9. Idiot. She apparently DOESN'T read newspapers (no matter
what she says) because she missed all the republican endorsements for Obama that clearly stated that she was the last straw. And the newspapers. And the pundits. And pretty much the rest of the friggin' world.

15. "you won't have Nixon to kick around..."
Speaking well of yourself in the third person is always promising. I don't think it's word salad so much as forgetting what she just said in the previous clause, as well as forgetting what she just said, in addition to not remembering how the sentence began.

I don't know who ultimately said "check her out" but I'd say they deserve a good share of blame as well.

Let the fighting begin between Camp McCain and Camp Palin on whose to blame for their devastating loss.
