So the polls were pretty much dead on- Rass especially |
|
I didn't trust them but they were fairly accurate

2. Rasmussen Has Typically Been The Most Accurate |

I'm not sure why people peg it as favoring Republicans.

4. Ras has been the best since 04 but... |
|
his state polls slightly understated Obama support in Colorado, Nevada, and Indiana.
nationally, he was dead on. Zogby was awful, gallup was ok but overstated obama support...same with cbs and abc.......nbc/wsj poll was the best of the networks

5. Rass did okay not great. Was wrong in a number of state polls. He only miss the national by 1%. |
|
Rass predicted (actual results):
National - Obama +6 (Obama won by 7%)
Key swing states: CO - Obama +4 (Obama won by 7%) FL - McCain +1 (Obama won by 2%) IN - McCain +3 (Obama won by 1%) MO - Tied (Even->McCain) NC - McCain +2 (Even->Obama) NV - Obama +4 (Obama won by 12%) OH - Tied (Obama won by 5%) PA - Obama +6 (Obama won by 11%) VA - Obama +4 (Obama won by 5%)
He predicted some states better than others same as other pollster that predicted.
