Born out of rage and ruin in the summer of 2004, these proud letters served to symbolize so much of what the Democratic Party stood for through its own long history (1). Now our beloved little rowdy pub is threatened by destruction! Please don't let it happen!

Save GD/P. Ccreate an appropriate acronym and purpose for GD/P--these letters are too proud and important to die!

(1) spirited discussion, belief in justice and equality, and drunken pissed-offedness at the fairness of it all open to ALL comers regardless of race, religion, non-religion, sexual preference, typing and/or spelling skill, respect for Karl Rove's omnipotence or scorn at those who refuse to believe in his awesome powers, and whether or not you've ever been to Wal-Mart or the Olive Garden; exotic animal worship (see: DU Lounge history, also, Oscar), ad infinitum.
