I'm pissed! My county ALMOST went blue.
It hasn't gone blue in decades and last night, Barack Obama lost Salt Lake County by only a couple thousand votes. It sounds trivial, but it crushed me. All night he was leading, but once 90% of the vote was in, McCain took the lead and never lost it. :(

This was a county that Bush won by a huge margin in 2004! It's Utah! And it almost went to Obama. :(:(:(

3. At least you don't live in a state with absolutly no blue.
Oklahoma is now the reddest state and I'm mad as hell about it.

5. And Utah isn't!!!!!
In 2004, EVERY county went red. This year, two counties went to Obama and almost three! :)

6. My county in SWMO got 41% for Obama, which was incredible. Not a victory, but progress.
Kerry only got 37% in my county in SWMO.

It's amazing that a Democratic candidate broke 40% here, and especially an African American candidate.

I knew watching 40,000 at the rally in my hometown of Springfield, that Obama could break 40%--and he did!
