I just realized that this is the first time in my life... |
|
...that I have voted for a winning Presidential Candidate, and I am over 50 years old.
Carter in 1980 Mondale in 1984 Dukakis in 1988 Brown in 1992 Nader in 1996 Gore in 2000 Kerry in 2004
Barack in 2008!
It has been a very long time since I have felt proud to be a citizen of the United States.
Congratulations America for finally getting it right.

1. Did you skip the general in 92? |
|
Or did you write Brown in? Just curious, not trying to start anything. It's too good a day to start anything. :)

...I never voted for Bill Clinton, even though I thought he was far better than any Repug and by and large a good President. I live in California. If the election was close in this state I would have voted for Clinton both times.
I can be opinionated, but I'm not stupid... :)

3. I can understand that. |

I liked Clinton, but he disappointed me at times. Everyone has. I live in Texas, so I was going to be sure there were as many votes as possible for Democratic leadership coming from state.
