We need a bi-partisan rating system for political ads for 2010 and beyond
After witnessing all the insanely repetitive and deceptive political ads on TV and radio in this election cycle, it is time to have a very visible or audible rating system that rates an ad on accuracy, distortion of facts, outright lies and have the ads rated by a bi-partisan commission that can do ti fairly quickly.

The TV ad would have a very prominent watermark in one corner of the screen with a simple iconic rating system and would be displayed throughout the ad. The radio ad would have a simple tagline that says something like "this ad is rated D for accuracy".

It's time for a rating system that gets embedded in political ads.
