Gov. Napolitano (AZ) named to Obama transition team
Edited on Wed Nov-05-08 04:13 PM by DesertRat
Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano will serve as an adviser to President-elect Barack Obama's White House transition.

Napolitano, now serving her second term, was a high-profile Obama campaign surrogate and is widely considered in line for a Cabinet post. In the interim, she will serve on a 12-member board that includes other familiar names such as former Transportation Secretary Federico Peña.

The Obama-Biden Transition Project's Web site, www.change.gov, goes live later today.

That's my fear. Napolitano has got to serve out her term.
We desperately need her here; with Senate races coming up and McCain's retirement(?) we need a strong field for Senate (Napolitano, goddard, Lord--we got a bunch of good ones in the wings!).

Kyl's up in 2010, too, IIRC.

7. I don't want her in the cabinet.
I want her to defeat John McCain for US Senate in 2010.
