4. As I said in a similar post....
Relief for not having President McPalin, wistfulness that we couldn't have elected a really progressive candidate and that my own party probably performed poorly this time around, concern that Prop 8 passed, and joy that a different barrier was finally broken.

5. A great weight has been lifted
I am exhilirated and emotionally raw - spontaneous crying jags all afternoon. A true restoration is taking place - globally, nationally, and personally.

7. Dead tired
I am shelled out. I ran GOTV from 5:00 AM Tuesday and went to the celebration at 9:00 PM and didn't get home until 2:00 AM.

Then I had to get up and go to work this morning at 6:30 AM.

I am going to be crashing soon.

15. Still in shock....It sinks in
little by little. Oh these long dark years. I think it will take a couple days. When I can think about this without crying. It's like we had been held hostage for all these long dark years, and now been set free.

16. a little angry... now that we have won I am pretty pissed about the slanders that were endured
during the campaign

at the time I was so focused on countering and moving past them that I didn't get upset. Now I am upset and would like to hear some statements about how Pres. Elect Obama is Not a Socialist, Does not pal around with terrorists, does not rely on his own political success for vindication of his faith in America.. etc etc etc.

My work here on DU is basically done, but I can't leave it alone.

I was gonna block its IP address, but that means I have to log in as administrator and I don't want to reboot right now.
