I'm a California based commercial property manager and manage a building long distance in Urbana. Our broker is on Scioto Street.

2. I'm sure the whining will continue for some time.

They felt they had an entitlement to lead this country. But they've demonstrated they can't lead, only create terrible messes in this country and elsewhere, messes that Obama will now have to clean up.

8. I'm smiling and serving the pricks pie everyday
killing them with kindness and going over their heads with daily affirmation that we all need a piece of the pie.

9. All were very gracious, with one exception
the perpetually paranoid, fear-filled one. Said the first thing Obama was going to do was "move Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Oprah into the White House." I shared the treats I brought in for everyone at the office with her anyway. Then she gleefully returned this afternnon to tell me that Obama is already "getting attacked in the press." I just smiled and munched down on my cookie. Aaaahhh.....success.

11. The online comments in the Washington Post today
Edited on Wed Nov-05-08 07:17 PM by MikeE
were so creepy and racist. Most people were on the street smiling, although I did hear some doughy young guy talking on a cell and saying he was terrified now that Obama has been elected. I had to laugh.

12. same here
Most people didn't say anything to me. I wasn't trying to gloat, but I did wear my Obama T Shirt today. My boss said that I've confirmed to him that I have bad judgement because I voted for Obama -- but I think he was just "joking" - huh.

You're all about to get represented and you resent the hell out of it.

19. You'd think an asteroid was going to hit on Jan 20th
That woman in red at a McCain rally who said "I think he's an Arab" wasn't just a disturbed individual; she was an example of a significant number of Americans whose reasoning powers have fractured over their fear of a non-white non-Repub in the White House.
