Minimal voting controversies last night. Did the Repubs realize how far they went in '00 and '04? |
|
Except for Missouri and North Carolina, election results came in a timely manner. No reports of voter intimidation, votes being purged and other actions that were prevalent in the 2000 and 2004 elections.
Could Bush and the extremists running the Republican party for the past several years have had an epiphany and realized that if they continued these practices and steal another election, that they would have possibly destroyed this country and possibly created a state of anarchy?
This election seemed to have passed eerily quiet.

1. I heard lots of reports in the run up about the usual voter intimidation schemes. |

My guess is that the Obama Campaign was a force they weren't equipped for. I think these tactics are ineffective unless you have a very close election and a lack of awareness about them.

The turnout just was too much for their tricks and thefts to work everywhere this time.
