As soon as I learned how to read Dick, Jane, and Sally books along with my 6-yr-old sister, and the Little Golden Books we had dozens of, I started in on the only other reading material in our house within my reach: several linear feet of National Geographics neatly shelved in the living room. The maps in particular interested me, and the photo captions (seeing the sentences in conjunction with the pictures helped my vocabulary and comprehension immensely).

Sarah Palin is not only ignorant, she obviously sees no value in learning. She apparently has less than a 6th grade education. A pox on her.
