Katrina will never happen on President Obama's watch. remember how Stupid went to a two-day briefing telling him exactly what was going to happen, and he didn't ask one fucking question? Then he took off on a campaign trip.

We have a presidential president. If one of his staff outs a CIA agent, that person will be fired within a day and probably prosecuted.

1. We're going to have a president who actually sounds intelligent when he speaks
How refreshing that will be after agonizing under Bush for 8 years.

2. Howard Fineman was just talking about how Obama will not wait for position papers
But will be anticipating problems and pondering how to handle them before they are critical.

Paraphrasing there - still worn out from the last few days of the campaign.

5. Yes, but as a read of Obama's character I think Fineman is right
Obama thinks ahead and plans for all contingencies, he does not just reflexively react after the fact. Look at his campaign - he knew what Hillary and McCain were going to throw at him and planned just how to handle it. He did not go over the top, he was even handed and steady. And I think he will handle the country and our relationship to the world the same way.

6. Yes, I thought about that today, too.
Large and In Charge. I know I'll know more about the government than ever because I'll be more interested.
