I Want to Bake a Turkey or Something

I want a big ass party with 2 half barrels of beer and an open bar.

I want mashed potatos and gravy, stuffing, veggies and my Mom's rolls (may she rest in peace).

I want people with Sparklers in my driveway waving their hands and spelling out:

USA OBAMA

I want a night of letting loose and just savoring this moment.

I want to wrap myself in the flag - literally.

I want to dance around and talk to everyone that I know.

I want to stop crying with joy. Because I can't stop.

Every new hour that passes makes me think of what has happened and I am in so much awe.

Total Awe.

I am waiting for those who don't get it yet to catch up.

Will it take a day or two? A week? Months?

I want the nightmare to end and the new day to begin.
