I shot this footage in Times Square right after Obama was announced as President-Elect. There were thousands of people packed together, cheering at every Obama victory and booing every McCain one (hehe), and as soon as the announcement was official, everyone *erupted* into cheers and applause at the news.

Afterwards, taxicabs would pass by and honk in victory, while random people would run or bike along the crowd barrier and high-five the people in the front row.

Even on the crowded trains home, everyone was happy and friendly, and shouts of "Obama!" endlessly echoed throughout the train station.
