Doesn't Richardson have a good history of negotiating with foreign leaders? SOS?
I saw on TV that Kerry is seeking the Sec of State position in the cabinet.

But given Richardson's early endorsement after dropping out, and given that Richardson has a proven record of negotiating with foreign leaders (or so I've heard....some sort of "gift" when wheeling and dealing with foreign leaders), shouldn't Richardson be seriously considered as SOS?

Kerry's a good guy, and he endorsed Obama and all, but does Kerry have a record of successfully negotiating with foreign leaders? Altho I voted for Kerry and fully supported him, Kerry's connections with other human beings in not one of his strong points, I'd say.

Richardson? Kerry?

I'm sure Obama will make the right choice.

1. I would choose Richarson
He seems a better fit with Obama's demeanor than Kerry.

Thats important in projecting what Obama stands for in dealing with the rest of the world.

And they are close on some issues in foreign policy. Foreign leaders like Kerry too. There is no lawmaker that has exposed more government corruption than Kerry.

And Richardson isn't a bad fit either. But Obama will choose what's best for America and his administration.

3. Richardson for State, Kerry for Justice?
It would suit me. The only problem, of course, is Richardson's support for our crappy "free trade" deals that give away the store. Hopefully some pressure from Congress would put a check on that, but I'm not optimistic. If this is a Clinton administration redux it's not gonna be good for trade policy.

5. Leave Kerry where he is;

his difficulty making decisions was apparent in '04. There are plenty of others for SOS and other cabinet positions.
