1. I was so distracted thinking about the amazing victory last night that I walked out the door for work this morning and wondered briefly what was wrong with my pants. Something was wrong with my pants. I got in my car, drove off (LATE!) and realized I HADN'T PUT ON ANY UNDERWEAR. OBAMA MADE ME FORGET TO PUT ON UNDERWEAR. He's amazing.

2. I got all the way to work before realizing I had forgotten to take my pills. And I felt ok all day. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, y'all.

4. I had to do a VERY long presentation at work today to about 40 people. Every now and then, I'd think "OHMYGODBARACKOBAMAISTHEFUCKINGPRESIDENT" and I'd suddenly look like a fucking loon, grinning like my ass was on fire. My panty-less ass. I think at one point I took a few dance steps. Later, my boss said people were wondering if I felt ok. "Forgot my meds today" I explained. She takes the same meds, so she nodded.

4. I fell getting out of my car when I got home from work. I landed on the knee with the torn ACL. As anyone knows with a chronic knee injury, that shit isn't funny. I saw stars and little birdies. But then I thought OHMYGODBARACKOBAMAISTHEFUCKINGPRESIDENT and limped into the house GRINNING.

15. With the temperatures we had today,

the 'no underwear' thing would have been VERY cool. Like icicles hanging from your anatomy.

I didn't get to bed until about 5:00 AM so when I was awakened a few hours later, my first thought that I had dreamed it. I asked my wife (who had the unmitigated gall to wake me up) if it really was true. She assured me that I didn't just dream it, and that Obama was the president elect. Then she shoved a cup of coffee into my hand.

I swear, I've been running around all day with a grin on my face as well. With so many things happening to us lately, when Keith announced the result, I felt like a weight had lifted and maybe, just maybe, things will turn around for all the US (even the @($* freepers, though they don't deserve it).
