So much CW out the window after this election.
Here is my tally so far:

-Missouri always goes for the winner.

-America won't elect a black president.

-Americans don't elect senators to be president.

-BRADLEY EFFECT (I'll be especially happy to see this term buried)

-PUMA effect

-Americans don't elect liberals to be president.

-Young people don't vote.

-Jews won't vote for a black candidate.

-Latinos won't vote for a black candidate.

I'm sure more will pop into my head. Post any that you've got!

1. He's the first president with a "foreign" sounding name
Now, the office can be open to names that are Italian, Hispanic, Eastern European and so forth.

7. Roosevelt and Van Buren are Dutch names - a long history in the USA
"Obama" breaks the mold like no other.

2. John McCain = Mav'rick
Dems can't win in the West

The American electorate is dumb as a bag of doorknobs;

but this pretty well confirms the Redskins rule.

4. Just one note. With two senators running, the people had to
go with a senator!

5. You can't win without a Southerner on the ticket.
Although, to be fair, it's been done anyway, so I don't know why anyone still believes that one.
