A Parting Crack At The MSM And Myth Of Liberal Bias
The full extent of not only the infighting in the McCain/Palin camp is not only coming out, but the full extent of Palin's incompetence is also being disclosed:

While this is all interesting, I think we should all take a moment to be properly horrified that the GOP came so close to putting her within a 72 year old heartbeat away from the Presidency. Also, Fox News AND Newsweek obviously had access to at least some of this information, but chose not to disclose it until after the election, including the firing of Randy Schuenemann. Liberal media? This is absolute bullshit how the media was keeping this erratic behavior under wraps.

I do hope that the election of Obama does not make liberals complacent about the continuing threat of a corporation dominated media that is controlled by only five corporations. The Palin episode, and the tremendous lengths that the media went to in order to make her looked like a viable candidate is amazing. Even the Couric interview was second guessed as evidence of "liberal bias."

1. I believe the media has been fair
Joe Klein, for example, is a good well-intentioned MSM'er who turned liberal this year because he saw that Obama is the better candidate. We now have MSNBC and the NY Times and Washington Post have been very fair and helpful.

4. What Concerns Me Is How Much Was Buried About Palin. Not Knowing Africa Was A Continent?
A high school student with good grades would have a better handle on international issues than Palin. Palin was dangerously uninformed about basic civics, yet this information is only coming out after the election? Think about it, Palin could have ended up as President if McCain won, and his health failed, yet her lack of knowledge was kept hidden. Worse, Fox News appears to have had access to such information, but sat on it.
