If Conservatives had not turned immigration in to the only issue that mattered in 2006, it might have been VP Sarah Palin this morning.
Talk Radio in 2005/06 made immigration the lone issue. Talk radio had no other issue! When you did not get what you wanted you took out your anger in 2006 against Republicans, costing the loss of the Senate. Where is the immigration issue now? Was not even a issue in this election, and may never be again.
I for one have only been involved in politics because of the Christian political angle. Pro life and family values, with out that there is really no reason to be involved. So today the struggle to take the Republican party away from it`s pro life pro family heritage, I want no part of it.
I did not listen to Hussein last night, I give up politics today. Just in the process of deleting all political sites from my computer. No longer a need to go to RCP to get the latest ridiculous averaged polls, or to check Drudge for a possible Barry scandal,no I give it all up today. No more Fox News in the morning or at all, no more Britt Hume special report night after night. No more Fox all stars, I am through...UNLESS and Until there is some word on Sarah Palins future etc.
I love Sarah!!! If Barry Hussein could be Saved and filled with the Holy Spirit (become a Christian) but seems unlikely? All things are possible with God, this is true, but he shows only hatred towards the things of God, so I do not see that.
The only hope is somehow the Dem Supremes hang on to their life time appointment, until after Husseins first/last term.
For sure I continue to pray, but instead of following the hopeless politics, I plan on spending more time with my family, perhaps watch Turner Classic Movies instead of Fox News.
