2. Denver
Because it was such a huge moment up to that point. If I had to choose my second favorite, it would have to be South Carolina. I was a Hillary supporter until that speech. He won me over that night.

4. In terms of significance..
2004 Keynote Address launched him into national stardom. New Hampshire inspired a song. The race speech was a landmark. Denver and Grant Park are obviously historically significant.

7. What a joy to have a president where you have to ask this question!
Some day, maybe soon, there will be CD compilations of his speeches that we will buy.

Now, just for laughs, imagine a similar exercise for W. The only way it could be done would be his worst moments. Of course, no one could listen to it all the way through, so all we'd do is have a poll.

12. Denver with Victory Speech as runner up.
Denver had the best lines:

"Its time for then to OWN their failure"
"You make a big election about small things"
"We cannot look back. We must not walk alone."
"...he won't even follow him to the cave where he lives!"

13. I had a really tough time choosing between race, Denver, and victory speech
but I had to go with the victory speech at Grant Park not only because it was so perfectly conceived and delivered but due as well to the massive force of historical inertia swelling behind it.
