after all the anger & frustration of the last eight years, I cherish every tear of joy that I've cried in the last 3 days.

I worked in Indiana (now BLUE) to GOTV (I live in KY). My 9 & 8 year old took turns going with me & helping at headquarters. My son & I were lucky enough to give a Mexican American first time voter a ride to the polls. He is raising 3 of his 7 grandkids. Let me tell you it was the most beautiful experience. We parted with him inviting all of us to visit the next time we were in town. He thanked me & Mr. Jacob (my son) & told Jacob how honored he was to have met such a dedicated young man. The joy tears started as soon as we drove off & have been with me off and on since then. We are all lucky, but I truly believe that my children, all children have a better future ahead of them. I am very proud of my country.

Great candid shots of Obama and family on election night and traveling back. Some of my favorites are of all the snapshots of the front pages of newspapers! Great to keep, imo.
