My father, who voted for Bush twice, voted for Obama!

When I found out he'd twice voted for Bush, I didn't talk to him for three weeks, and made him cancel a visit to come see us.

I don't know how someone who works in Manhattan and witnessed first-hand Bush's incompetence could vote for him TWICE.

I don't know how someone who works in as a salesman in an industry that's outsourced all its labor to China, and then complains about how hard his job has become because of it, could vote for Bush TWICE.

To tell the truth, I'm afraid to ask.

When I told my father that my daughter and I were going to a rally in support of same-sex marriage, he asked, "Why would you do THAT!?" and I patiently explained it to him.

But he's also been kind enough not to mention the Adult Entertainment Guide I once left on his dining room table by accident, in which my wife and I had circled all the places we were planning to visit on our drive home.

So, who knows.
