Election 2008 as the The tale of the Four Joes-- |
|
Joe Sixpack, who came out in surprising numbers and voted for the black guy just because it was the obvious, logical and sensible thing to do.
Joe the Plumber, who got momentarily famous for talking like a bigshot to a passing political candidate, and who will very shortly be returning to his regular job of delivering crack while crawling under sinks in Ohio.
Joe the Biden--well, you all know about him.
And Joe the Rat, who followed McNasty around throughout the campaign, keeping him from falling off stages and explaining the difference between Sunni and Shia, and who now, having discovered that he had hitched a ride on the Titanic, is looking for a welcome back on the ship he abandoned. See Joe swim. Swim, Joe, Swim.

1. Maybe Lieberman made the difference |
|
this time for US. I'm REALLY glad he was never VP. Of course, that is with mixed emotions.
Maybe Lieberman is the bad luck charm we needed to be rid of in order to win.

2. That would make a good political cartoon |
|
Picture McCain in the water with a flotation ring that says "USS McCain" and a huge party Cruise Ship (USS Obama) racing by him in a festive mood. Of course they would have to put Bill Clinton sitting by the pool checking out the ladies to show "no bias"?
Maybe a SNL skit?
