Edited on Thu Nov-06-08 02:53 PM by FVZA_Colonel
These men have all been offered, and accepted, positions in the Obama administration. Have any other reports come in?

13. Yes to Obama.
And David Axelrod, another Chicago native who served as Obama’s chief strategist during his presidential campaign, will become a senior adviser in the Obama White House.

28. Robert Gibbs from Huffpost..
<snip>

"Robert Gibbs, a top aide to Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) on his campaign and in his Senate office, will be named the White House press secretary, a top Democratic official said.

Gibbs was usually the senior official on Air Obama, the campaign plane. As communications director of Obama's Senate office, Gibbs was a key strategist in Obama's rapid move to the national stage.

The announcement, to be made shortly, is likely to be viewed favorably by reporters because Gibbs has unquestioned authority, access and institutional memory."

"Institutional memory"?

7. Axelrod-Senior Advisor,
Plouffe going home. He said his job is done, has a newborn(or will very shortly). He didn't seem at all interested in a WH job.

23. ALL i want from Obama is to hire new people that will RESPECT
him and be loyal to him. I don't want to hear ANY LEAKS TO THE PRESS!.. even if leaks are for the benefit of us.

No leaks, please!

I am happy Emmanuel accepted the position offered but i didn't like that he went to press last night and talked about how confused he was and dint' know if to accept obama's offer. He should have kept that confusion to himself or between him and Obama..

32. AWESOME! I love Gibbs as spokesperson. He rocks.
the way he schooled Hannity on his own show in such a "meta" way that Hannity didn't realize what he'd walked into was CLASSIC

34. I dislike Emanuel personally but being an asshole is needed for CoS. I love Axelrod and Gibbs
Axelrod is awesome because he was obviously one of the ones who immediately got how special Obama is and he's one of the reasons we should be thankful we have Obama. Robert Gibbs is awesome for showing how hypocritical Sean Hannity was by trying to push the Obama is a radical BS by simply illustrating how Hannity's associations with an anti-Semite made him one too by his own logic. It was fucking epic. So yeah, awesome choice for Press Sec. Plus, he's pleasant and nice. :)
