Patriotic service from these women helped get Obama elected...
:patriot:

This is just a start. Feel free to add any other women's names who deserve recognition during this campaign.

Michelle Obama: What a smart, kind and gracious woman. I admire her personal accomplishments, her loving support for her husband and her obvious mothering skills. I believe Barack Obama has been able to reach for his full potential because he found her. Michelle, you will be a great First Lady.

Hillary Clinton: She was a tough opponent who helped to sharpen Barack as a candidate for the GE. She is also the only candidate I can remember who lost then turned around and worked hard for her opponent. Hillary, I appreciate your service to this country.

Katie Couric: I thought her interviews with Palin would be all sweetness and light (aka The Today Show type interview). I was wrong. Her questions were obviously fair but she was GREAT with the follow-ups which revealed the true lack of knowledge of Palin. Thank you Katie.

Tina Fey: C'mon, you have got to appreciate what Tina did during this campaign. As the MSM was all ga-ga over Caribou Barbie, it was Tina Fey on SNL that showed the general public what Palin really represented...and it cemented the public's perception. We owe you a round of gratitude for using your talents and humor in revealing the truth. Tina's humor helped keep this country from making a tragic mistake.

:applause:

6. Couric asked about newspapers Palin read, etc. softball questions

great big 16 inch slow pitched softball questions.

And Palin couldn't answer them.

Couric certainly exposed Palin's inadequacies but I really believe it wasn't intentional probing of intellectual positions in politics or diplomacy.

3. Janet Napolitano... Endorsed way back in early January... brought on board Western support, and
as a woman she showed some leadership among Obama supporters.
No surprise she's on the tranistion team.

11. Debbie Wasserman Schultz
She was on Hardball with Tom Delay and Tommy was lying his ass off, she pre-empted her response with ... With all due respect we should consider the source. Tom Delay left the Congress in disgrace, so we need to keep that in mind.

That was amazing.

14. Ha thanks. You really need to watch that BET clip if you have a few minutes. BET did everything
possible to get the vote out.
