I'd like to see Rove and other Bush administration officials settled into the newly emptied Gitmo.

His dream of a permanent Republican majority has been demolished, and he has been tainted with the utter failure of the Bush administration.

No idealist can have dirtied his hands the way Rove has. He is nothing if not pragmatic, and cares not a whit for glory. All he wanted was a swanky getaway car with a trunkload of cash, and he is assured of that.
(The "permanent Republican majority" was simply the line of bullshit that allowed him to fleece the GOP rubes for so long. It might have been nice, but what did Rove care, so long as he was paid well?)

16. I have no disagreements with what you say. But my only |

point is that he went at least in the eyes of many of his admirers from "Boy Genius" to the guy responsible for imploding the repig party. Unfortunately he has demonstrated time and time again that he's above the law.

a CEO of a company or any number of things. His twisted little mind is all about politics. It's not about the republican majority. It's about him being the one credited for it. That's the impression I have gotten over the years reading Wayne Slater and others who know him from way back. That's also the impression I got after watching "Bush's Brain". You can already tell by watching somebody like Axelrod who seems perfectly happy to work behind the scenes whereas Rove wants it to be about him. If his only concern is making money he wouldn't be showing his pasty saggy ass face on Faux News every night. There's a million more ways this guy could be making money without having the hassle of putting himself out there every night. This is what he does he is a former geek who used to get his ass kicked who has grown up as a kind of reverse bully. There seems to be a certain pathology that goes beyond just making money (which he's made a ton of).

20. I think the only thing he loves is getting away with shit no one else would try. |

That it's in service to the political agendas of others is incidental. I think.
Perhaps he also gets a kick out of being called a "genius" by the ignorant.
