LOL The GOP is dispatching a lawyer to *take Palin's clothes BACK*
Party’s over for Palin: GOP goes to collect leftovers from her shopping spree.+

After controversy erupted over Gov. Sarah Palin’s (R-AK) largely unauthorized spending spree, Palin announced that she would no longer be wearing the expensive clothing: “Those clothes, they are not my property. … I’m not taking them with me.” However, it seems that a few items did make it back to Alaska with her, and the GOP is coming to reclaim them:

Sarah Palin left the national stage Wednesday, but the controversy over her role on the ticket flared as aides to John McCain disclosed new details about her expensive wardrobe purchases and revealed that a Republican Party lawyer would be dispatched to Alaska to inventory and retrieve the clothes still in her possession.

I'm sure though the Palin's will discover their mistake once he is field dressed.

The GOP will have to find one brave or stupid lawyer. If they have more than one apply they can choose the one that best squeals like a pig.

17. It was supposed to be 3 suits and a stylist
as noted in several places here and on the internets the donors who agreed to foot the bill were SHOCKED at the totals

I think you are right. They are publicly trying to tell her that they have had enough of her being around.

The people behind the scenes aren't stupid. They have to know that they can't ride that wagon to anywhere.

She only has been on the scene for 67 days now-think about how she has sunk like a stone in just over 2 months.
There usually are second chances in politics but this is going to be the comeback of all time....IF they let her back in the door.

43. I don't know why, but it sounds lack of class
for GOP to run all the way to Alaska to get Sarah's clothes. I am curious. What would Obama and his team have done? How did Sarah get her hand on over $200,000 for spending spree? Not clear to me. Did Sarah Camp just run off charging everything on plastic cards at those expensive stores? Did she herself go shopping? If she was allowed or given that much, it's GOP's own fault. They sound like Keystone Cops. lol

but basically ritzy donors (we have them too) agreed to get her fixed up but it was supposed to be 3 suits and a stylist

Next thing they know they were SHOCKED at the tab and someone in the McCain camp described it as "Wasilla hillbillies" gone wild in Nieman Marcus. Todd's clothes were $40K. Apparently SHE did do the shopping and told staffers to charge it up on their cards.
