I try to put myself in Michelle's position as Laura shows her the "linen closet" and the "bathrooms" in the President's Quarters and points out how she and "Gee-orge" modernized it all after the Clintons trashed the place. Maybe Barney will be up there and take a bite out of Michelle's leg when she isn't looking and the "pretzel crumbs" are littering the furniture and Laura has to apologize for the "boot scruffs" on the coffee table because "Gee-orge just loves to put his boots up and relax while he watches the Rangers."
I cannot imagine having to go through that ordeal and manage to have a straight face... I think Michelle and Barack will have a lot of stuff to talk about as they wing their way back to Chicago and what for them would be SANITY after being "shown around the White House (the Peoples House) by the Bushies!
I pray for Michelle and Barack and for the Bidens when they finally get to tour what Cheney's have done to the Vice President's Home. Remember all those articles in the WaPo about "neighbors complain about blasting coming from VP's Residence."
:eyes: It will take nerves of steel, a sense of humor and probably a few drinks home to get through our new Presiden/VP's "tours" by the EVIL ONES!
Let's send them (((((GOOD VIBES)))) if you aren't religious. But, I'm gonna keep praying..they manage to keep it together after Monday...

Obama To Meet With Bush On Monday
By Greg Sargent - November 6, 2008, 1:36PM
Just out from Camp Obama:
"Michelle and I look forward to meeting with President Bush and the First Lady on Monday to begin the process of a smooth, effective transition. I thank him for reaching out in the spirit of bipartisanship that will be required to meet the many challenges we face as a nation."
Obama, of course, has just spent the last two years depicting Bush as the disaster he's been and promising to reverse everything he's done, so it should be an interesting meeting.
