What were the ONLY times during the campaign when Obama lost his cool?
I can only think of two.

1) The time in the Senate where he cornered Joe Lieberman and gave him a brief talking-to.

2) The time on Halloween when the paparazzi tried to snap pictures of his daughter (Malia?) in her costume and he told them to leave her alone.

Only twice. And I can forgive him for both of them.

1. Did he really lose his cool? Do we really know,
or are we taking the word of unconfirmed reports?

2. On Halloween, Obama calmly told the press...
...that they had taken enough pictures.

Nothing uncool about it.

3. There was some press conference during the primaries where he got flustered and walked out.
I can't remember the details but the media made a big deal out of it because it was out of character. I think he was just tired and in a hurry and the press corps was pressuring him on some dumb issue.

4. "You're likable enough, Hillary"
That was pretty cold, but I've said much worse to people under pressure.

5. I could understand it being controversial if he told her that she's not...
...likeable enough to become president.

Telling her that she is shouldn't be taken as an insult.

6. I totally did not see that as an insult.
I think the comment was just silly and "nice" sarcastic -- something you might say to a friend or a relative.

7. Hmm. I always thought that was a take-off on
the whole "Is he black enough?" goofiness that was big in the early days.
