2. Oh, come on, Al. God, I want to see Coleman gone. I'm sick thinking about the prospect
of Norm Coleman sitting in Paul Wellstone's seat for longer than Wellstone did.

4. :( I know what you mean
I've been praying like mad about it. Not to get all religious-nutty on you guys but I already feel so blessed that Obama is going to be president that I feel ungrateful for wanting more, but the idea of Coleman getting away with his sleazy, nasty campaign makes me heartsick.

14. Oh, sorry
I should know being from MN, but I'm kind of avoiding the Franken/Coleman stuff to avoid getting my hopes crushed. It's bad enough that I know people who voted for Obama and Barkley. It makes me frustrated.

18. He did earlier today, but apparently more Franken votes have shown up since then.
One precinct simply wrote the wrong total on their ballot envelope -- they wrote 29 for Franken, instead of 129. So, Franken got another 100 in one quick go.

This is going to take awhile...

7. So what happens if Franken passes Coleman before a recount? Will Coleman say no recount???
Afterall, it would be better to just move on...right??

8. It would be sweet if Franken won by ONE vote.
Then we could see if Norm would follow his own counsel against recounts, or if he'd request another one (I don't know exactly how Minnesota state law works).

What's up with Minnesotans voting for Coleman, anyway?

9. Holy moly.... it would be phenomenal if they find a few hundred more votes.
It's unbelievable that we won't know until December, when the hand count is finaly complete. But if Al could be leading when they finally start that process, it would be a great, great thing.

12. My brother (in MN) says there are 6000 optical scan ballots...
That were not readable by the machine that have to be counted by hand. The canvas statewide occurs Nov. 18 and then the formal recount will start.

13. and i am so glad Al contested this, Coleman's ploy backfired, no Norm you don't get to keep your
seat because you claimed victory.
