51% for McCain

47% for Obama!!

WOW!! Less than 30,000 votes separated the two out of 830,000 votes cast.

:wow:

I'm shocked. OC is usually very conservative. Looks like OC is changing.

4. Turnout was down in Orange County.
But this is a Democrat's best performance in Orange County since FDR!

6. I live in O.C. (Huntington Beach) and voted for Obama and against Prop 8
I think its slowly been going liberal, especially in the north and central parts like Santa Ana and Anaheim. I didn't see a single McCain/Palin sign in Huntington Beach, which is considered to be a kind of liberal outpost in a savage land. I think there are two Republican households in my immediate neighborhood and that's about it.

LOL

San Diego, San Bernardino, Riverside and other "split" SoCal counties went easily for Obama.

The GOP is so dead in California. Lets hope some GOP reps get ousted in the next few years.

9. I'm so glad San Diego County finally went blue.
The city has been blue for awhile but the rest of the county made us pink. Now I can say I live in a blue county and not just a blue city. Yay!
