That's all of them since FDR--funny, you'd think there'd be more.

3. Leaving off the hopeless
running against incumbent FDR, McCain has to be the worst, running nonsensically as a walking policy disaster in an open seat election with terrible skills and crippling issues that somehow survived a primary of the horrible. Hoover after all was chosen as having some talent and expertise to face a tough situation and went down with the ship. McCain went down before the primaries began and never got much better all the way to election day meltdown. A truly remarkable feat with a favorable press and absolutist, cheating WH backing him.

Probably the least intelligent speaker of the bunch, the most inept campaigner, the most insincere positions, and just too old no matter how you want to argue that. Maybe that sound mean and contemporary
but this was an open elections with preset advantages for McCain. He had to blow through all of them several times over and never desert the worst president in American history.

4. Exactly. He had MONTHS of waiting while Obama and HRC slugged it out...
...and after all that time, he still managed to fail miserably.
