I no longer scream and jump for the remote when Commander Bunnypants is on. The air is fresher, the sky is bluer, the grass is greener - just a fine time to be alive!

Pretty well lately, thanks!
I volunteered with Irving for Obama and ObamaDallas from September to now, which was an exceedingly rewarding experience! My precinct in Valley Ranch went blue!

How are things on your end?

4. I know just what you mean. I was thinking today how miserable it must be to be a Repub right now.
There's this huge celebration going on worldwide, and if you're a Republican, you can't even feel it. You're the bitter wallflower at the party criticizing everyone on the dance floor. It almost makes me pity them.. haha, allllllllmost!

6. Here in blue Seattle
It's been raining steadily since Tuesday but people are smiling, singing, stopping for pedestrians, just generally feeling light and happy. It's a great feeling!!

10. I'm across the water from you....
and I noticed the same thing at the grocery store today...
pissing rain outside.....
but everyone in a good mood...

it truly looked like everyone had taken
a collective sigh of relief....

9. Exactly .... also everything seems softer and much less hard-edged
I've had very similar experience, of just feeling like a 80 lb. weight was lifted from
my psychic shoulders ... the future feels wide open.

I'm 65 y.o. male with three sons and the LAST thing I wanted to happen was to leave this
world to them in such a sorry-assed state, before it started to turn around.

Thank you President-elect Obama.

11. I have had just random remarkable things happen to me.
Ever since Tuesday night nothing but good things have come my way. At first I thought it was just a fluke but now I am convinced it's karma. At first it was little things. Then I found out I am finally going to be able to take a real vacation - the last time I took a vacation was before the 2000 Election. Today was the kicker - I found out some really great news about my job.

I had some really bad things happen while Shrub was in office. First my mom had a stroke about 3 months after Shrub was selected. Then 9/11. Then big problems with my father. I could go on & on. Things have just been horrible in my life over the past 8 years.

But this week it's like the sun is shining on my life again. I hope this doesn't sound stupid but I honestly feel like a dark cloud has lifted from over me. I am not naive enough to think that all of our problems are going to go away anytime soon but these small things that have already happened to me this have really given me Hope that goodness is going to be a lot of people's way soon.

First the election & then all of these other great things... I haven't had this great of a week in a really, really long time!
