It is absolutely worth giving the Republicans another Seat in the Senate
To THROW LIEBERMAN OUT OF THE PARTY.

He represents everything that has been wrong with the capitulating Democrats in Congress and he deserves to be booted from the caucus. Let the Republicans try to count on this wishy-washy individual who stands for nothing but his own interest. I am quite satisfied that Reid has taken away his chairmanships and strip him of any power in the Democratic caucus. It could not have happened to a more deserving individual.

And there are plenty of Republicans in the Senate who are up for re-election in 2010 who are more than willing to work with the Democratic Congress and the Obama Administration. I do believe that doing the right thing over keeping one more seat is the way to go here.

Thank you Senator Reid.

2. You can't "throw him out", because Lieberman has NOT been a Democratic
Party member since August 2006. He is officially an "Independent".

All the same, over the past 1-1/2 years he has shown that he is a selfish asshole: his loyalty is to nobody but HIMSELF.

Let him "defect" to the Republicans if he wishes - he really hasn't been a Democrat for some time anyway.

And let's ensure that Reid gives him nothing but shit work of no consequence and a broom closet for an office.

:evilfrown:

4. He holds Committee seats... taking them away is essentially throwing him out.

3. Amen and hallelujah.
We couldn't ever really count on his vote on anything important anyway, so fuck him.

Good riddance, you sniveling traitorous asshole.
